The purpose of this site is to promote the development of the Kombucha industry; the development of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), the dissemination of industry information relating to fermentation, safety, quality controls, process controls, constituent parameter controls, research treatises on the health benefits of ‘live culture’ and the effect of pasteurization on nutritional value of Kombucha; methods for controlling ethanol in the finished product, etc. We’ll host discussion forums on topics of interest to our membership. We’ll house an Equipment Exchange where members will be able to source, buy, sell and trade manufacturing equipment. We’ll provide advertising links to equipment manufacturers e.g. water filtration equipment, fermentation vessels and totes, tea and flavor suppliers. We’ll maintain an industry Registry and Jobs Listings. And we’ll provide various other services designed to promote the growth and development of the Kombucha industry.
